RISE of the Jack O'Lanterns is an event production company based in Westchester County, New York. We produce one of the largest month long Halloween-themed events in the Tri-State area. Our events attract tens of thousands of visitors throughout the month of October. We are a small business with a core year-round staff of 10 highly dedicated and motivated team members. We are looking for hard-working and dedicated individuals to help us expand our operations here in New York and in new markets.
We are currently looking for a full-time Event Producer to manage our efforts of producing an amazing experience for our visitors.
We are looking for someone who can:
Develop and Execute production plans for our large-scale events with the assistance of our Creative and Technical Directors
Develop and maintain production budgets
Manage all aspects of our human resources efforts including developing and executing an event staffing strategy
Manage relationships with key suppliers
Assist Director of Marketing and Communications with the production of marketing events
Help raise capital through sponsorships, investments, ticket sales, and ancillary products
Skills you will need to be successful in this role:
Minimum 5 to 10+ years producing large scale events
A really strong work ethic
Experience working with online ticket sales/distribution a plus
Hightly organized, strong attention to detail, self-directed, ability to multi-task and reprioritize in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to think creatively and develop ideas to solve logistical issues
Experience with raising capital for art or performing arts programs a plus
Having a love for Halloween a big plus
Bachelor's degree required. Masters degree in Communications or Business a big plus.
We all work normal business hours for the majority of the year. During event season in October and the beginning of November, we work some nights and weekends and take off a few days during the week. You may be required to work long hours in September and October but we make sure to give you extra time off between Thanksgiving and New Years.
You will mostly be working out of our Briarcliff Manor, NY location and you may need to travel to our Peekskill and Old Westbury locations as well.
