The Event Sales Manager position will be responsible for generating and coordinating special events including Corporate functions and meetings, private affairs, social events and parties, along with the following duties and responsibilities:
-Creating new business by contacting potential clients, contacting all previous clients to reschedule events and maintaining external customers for Lucky Strike Lanes.
-Be the face of Lucky Strike, represent the company at networking events, conventions and meetings and host networking events
-Negotiate proposals for events to meet clients' needs
-Insure collection of payment for events
-Monitor and track future sales and sold event revenue
-Maintain daily communication with management staff to update on Special Events
-Building relationships to ensure repeat and referral business
-Work within team environment to achieve common team goals
Skills required for this position include:
-3-5 yrs experience in the event business with 1-2 yrs selling events in the hospitality, restaurant or hotel industry
-Proven track record in closing sales
-Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
-Positive & confident attitude
-Highly organized and punctual
-Professional and personal phone presence
-Efficient & a skilled multi-tasker
