- Amount of hours will vary greatly based on the amount of events we have scheduled and your personal availability.
Special Event Staff provides services for events such as concerts, sporting events, trade shows and conferences at various locations.
Beer tent/ venue/ stage/ backstage roaming.
Practice the G. I. F. T. S program method of customer service.
Hospitality Position – must be very customer service oriented.
Required to stand for long periods of time.
Primary responsibility is to protect the performer(s) and patrons of each event.
Depending upon assigned post may be required to:
Conduct foot patrols of assigned area
Search bags of patrons, conduct patron pat-downs and confiscate contraband
Search vehicles and confiscate contraband.
Check for employee, vendor and patron identifications.
Work the stage or barricade areas.
Look for suspicious persons, packages and activities.
Direct / restrict traffic.
Ensure unauthorized persons do not enter restricted areas.
Must follow venue specific guidelines.
May be required to complete incident reports.
Other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED required.
Must have a clean criminal history.
Must be available to work at minimum 3 events per month (if offered).
Ability to work any shift(s) (majority of shifts will be in the evenings- 4pm-12pm)
Must have excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
MUST be able to stand or walk for extended periods.
Must have reliable transportation.
