The Executive Director of Human Resources functions as the top human resources leader for St.Vincent Medical Group. This role operates as a strategic and operational business partner with facility executives, managers and associates and works in partnership with the System Organizational Development Division Center of Expertise, the Ascension Ministry Service Center and Ascension's System Office HR on the development, integration and implementation of organizational capability strategies, processes and workplace practices that enable the achievement of mission-focused, operational and financial goals. Additionally, this position may be called to steward and/or facilitate specific system-wide initiatives that integrate Ascension and SVH system policies, practices and programs.
This position has local facility stewardship accountability for the following:
-Executive-level HR integrated strategic partnering.
-HR function budget/expense management.
-Leading comprehensive delivery of HR services and programs within the business unit.
-Business unit integrated HR strategic and capability planning.
-Executive coaching and consulting.
-Working in partnership with key stakeholder organizations - Ascension Ministry Service Center, Ascension System Office Human Resources and the SVH Organizational Development Division Centers of Expertise.
-Organizational development and change stewardship.
-Total rewards system implementation and consulting.
-Associate relations intervention consulting and problem-solving.
-Analyzing and interpreting workforce data to enable strategic and operational decisions and strategies.
-Co-developing system-wide workforce performance metrics.
-Workplace regulatory compliance consulting and monitoring.
-Facilitating the development of business unit associate engagement and retention initiatives.
-Mission integration partnership interventions..
-Facilitation of business unit performance management process to achieve system-wide outcomes.
-Talent stewardship process support and business unit administration.
-Facilitation of business unit workforce planning.
-Facilitation of business unit talent acquisition strategies and programs.
-Supporting the implementation of system-wide formation, learning and development programs and initiatives.
-System-wide integration of HR initiatives.
-Direct supervision and professional development of the business unit HR consulting team.
-10 years progressive human resources management preparation and experience, which shall include strategically-oriented, executive-level partnering experience in Human Resources management.
-Experience partnering with executive team members across multiple business lines.
-Progressive human resources generalist and specialist experience.
-Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development and/or Social or Developmental Psychology.
-Organizational Development practitioner experience in a matrixed, multi-functional, multi-facility and multi-geographical environment is preferred.
