The Finance Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing autonomous, complex, administrative support for the VP Corporate Development, VP Tax and VP, Internal Audit/Compliance. Duties will include but are not limited to: schedule management; relationship management; editing correspondence; preparing presentations; scheduling domestic and international meetings and teleconferences; facilitating travel arrangements; maintaining financial records and documentation. This position will interface with all levels of leadership and will provide assistance to other Finance Department executives and assistants as needed.
High school degree or equivalent is required, associates or bachelor’s degree in a related field is strongly preferred.
At least 1-2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant is required with 3-5 years of progressively more responsible administrative experience being strongly preferred.
Previous experience providing support to executive leadership is preferred.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience supporting financial departments in a publicly-held organization.
Strong attention to detail is critical, as is the ability to plan far into the future.
Advanced PC skills including MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook) is required.
Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to anticipate, improvise, and adapt for optimal resolutions is needed.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to listen and adapt messages to specific audiences also needed.
Proactive, personable, ability to multitask, and strong sense of ownership is required. Ability to take charge of complicated situations is a must.
Results-oriented style delivering outstanding quality and timeliness, while working independently with little supervision a must. Ability to develop and maintain strong partnerships within and outside the organization essential.
Proven experience in maintaining complete confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of information is essential.
The ability to travel, although minimally, is required.
