EXAMPLE OF DUTIES:
Responsibilities include: Answer incoming calls to the Executive office. Prepare for and attend all NCSPA board meetings. Record, transcribe, and distribute minutes of Board and Staff meetings. Maintain calendar for the Executive Director. Arrange travel arrangements for the Executive Director, Senior Staff and Board members, domestic and international. Act as liaison between Senior Staff and Executive Director. Arrange luncheons, receptions, dinner meetings, and social functions as required. Prepare correspondence for Executive Director and Chairman of the Board as needed. Gather data and prepare standard and custom reports with information needed for decision making.
Five years experience in Executive Administrative Assistant role. Associate degree preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Must be detail oriented, a self-starter and have excellent organizational skills. Experience in working with public and private sector leaders a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. The successful candidate must handle themselves in a professional manner and be sensitive with confidential information. Position requires occasional travel within North Carolina. Successful drug screen and background check required.
