Position Description

Technica Corporation has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and exceptional Executive Advisor to support the operational growth of our business. The Executive Advisor will provide subject matter expertise and be an integral member of the operations leadership team to ensure the business is prepared for sustained growth. The ideal candidate will be a proven strategist who will work hand-in-hand with the COO to facilitate transformational initiatives and provide tools, processes and consultative resources to accelerate execution and business results.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Interpret executive level strategic guidance, lead strategic project across the business and ensure the timely execution of internal directives
  • Evaluate organizational capabilities, identify needs and facilitate the development of short and long range change plans to improve organizational performance and capability
  • Lead teams in the completion of multi-phased tasks and the development of studies, plans, or concepts of operations
  • Assess implementation and adoption progress and address risks and issues
  • Provide feedback on plan deliverables and provide the COO with timely progress reports and mitigation recommendations for issues and risks to ensure transformation activities are managed effectively
  • Lead the development and implementation of best-in-class practices and programs to improve workflow, ensure consistency of methods and increase the speed of getting business done
  • Foster communications, cooperation, and teamwork within and across organizational boundaries to instill and grow a culture of collaboration
  • Build leadership capabilities throughout the operations organization through coaching and mentoring
  • Direct the activities of other staff, as necessary, on activities related to the specified field or special projects

Knowledge, Skills & Ability Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration or other related field
  • Minimum 15 years of business/ industry management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior level capacity (Director level, VP, or higher)
  • Strong experience in one or more of the following functions: Operations, Finance, Contracts, Business Development, Engineering, Executive Advisory
  • Experienced in Joint Venture operations
  • Experienced in one or more technology/services: Software Development, Cyber security, Big Data, ITIL, or Network Transport.
  • Strong knowledge of Federal contract environments, especially in one or more of the following segments: Defense & Intelligence, Law Enforcement, Healthcare, Civilian agencies
  • Proven skills in problem identification, stakeholder analysis and change plan generation by applying strong analytic and critical thinking skills
  • Proven track record of leading projects, driving change and building collaborative teams that successfully achieve milestones and deliverables
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects across the organization and create internal alignment
  • Strong presence and the ability to build strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with Quality Assurance methodologies to include CMMI or ISO 9001
  • Possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the use of Project Management methodologies and tools
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)
