LifeCell develops and markets tissue repair products for use in reconstructive,

urogynecologic and orthopedic surgical procedures. LifeCell's leading technologies include: Strattice™, for reconstructive and general surgical procedures; and AlloDerm®, for plastic reconstructive, general surgical, burn and periodontal procedures and Cymetra®, a particle form of AlloDerm suitable for injection.

The Executive Assistant provides high-level, confidential administrative support to Life Cell's Senior Leadership team members. Duties may be clerical, administrative and project-based and include scheduling travel, arranging meetings, handling information requests, preparing reports and correspondence with all levels of company personnel. This position is often privy to highly confidential information and as such, requires diplomacy and discretion. The Executive Assistant will have a proven ability to independently manage multiple tasks and projects with competing priorities and deadlines, screen and prioritize communications and opportunities from external and internal sources, and organize and maintain administrative processes.

Manage LifeCell Leadership Team members travel arrangements and proactively coordinate the pre-planning of trips with various external parties and internal functions, including arranging appropriate travel, visas, agendas and necessary contacts, country information, and other necessary preparations.Coordinate, manage and maintain the SLT team member's calendar and daily schedule, ensuring strategic priorities are met in a timely manner.

Ensure various administrative tasks are done in an effective and efficient manner, including reviewing outside mail, drafting correspondence, screening phone calls, maintaining executive files, and copying.

Assist the SLT member in the preparation of meeting agendas; assist with and provide information, content development and creation of presentations.Monitors and maintains function budgets; tracks and processes department invoices, keeping track of expenses through use of spreadsheets. Provides analytical support as needed.

Process and maintain expenses for Senior Leadership Team Members

Coordinates the creation and distribution of functional communications


A High School diploma is preferred. A bachelor's degree is preferred. 5-7 years work related experience supporting senior executives. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, high-energy, organized, and able to support cross-functional coordination in a fast pace environment and possess excellent judgment. Excellent project management and organizational skills. Knowledge of medical and/or financial industry and terminology preferred. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

Extensive experience in administrative preparation of power point presentation, including board presentations.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to stay focused, efficient, and effective in managing multiple priorities.

Professional demeanour and ability to defuse emotional situations in a calm manner.

Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment.

Proven ability to work independently to achieve accomplishments.

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts

High proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access) and Internet Explorer
