ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Handles department inquiries or redirects to appropriate resource
- Provides administrative support to Executives and department personnel
- Helps to manage Executive’s schedule. Schedules appointments and maintains calendar
- Schedules and organizes meetings, travel, and department activities for department team members
- Creates visual presentations for Executives and team members
Maintains databases and files. Updates and maintains contact lists
Provides logistical and administrative support for various training activities
Serves as project manager for special projects
The ideal candidate will be an energetic professional with previous experience in a customer-focused, administrative position. The Executive Assistant must be an excellent communicator, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be a supportive team player. He/she must be a creative, resourceful thinker who can provide professional, administrative support to the department and Company. Specifically, this individual must possess the following characteristics:

Excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills

Ability to keep confidential information private and handle sensitive situations; position requires poise, tact and diplomacy.
High School diploma or GED, and 2 or more years of administrative assistant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
OTHER REQUIRED SKILLS
Language : Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, procedures, operating manuals or governmental regulations. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical : Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability : Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer : To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of and be capable of performing PC applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
