This Individual will report directly to the Executive Director and provide basic clerical and administrative support to the Executive Director and the Board of Directors. From time to time, she/he may be requested to assist managers on a specific project:
Develop, word process and mail documents
Photocopy and fax documents
Keep filing updated
Coordinate and arrange meetings (internal as well as external), prepare agendas, make seminar, travel and lodging reservations, and record and transcribe minutes of meetings.
Maintain file of all grants and grant applications, programmatic contracts, etc.
Make telephone contact with outside parties as requested by supervisor.
Other duties as assigned by Executive Director.
College degree; relevant, verifiable work experience may be substituted for college level education
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word & Excel a must
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; excellent writing skills
Excellent organization skills for self and others
Great interpersonal skills; pleasant and professional telephone manners and voice
Ability to work under pressure and to work flexible hours
Ability to handle and maintain confidential issues
If travel required, must present valid California drivers license and current automobile insurance.
