The Iberdrola Renewables Executive Assistant will provide support to an Executive and their staff. We are looking for a person with strong personal initiative and a passion for excellence who will work well in a fast-paced, team environment in performing job duties. Responsibilities include:

Prioritize, maintain and organize the Vice President's schedule, action items, calendar, meetings and work flow, with particular attention to organization.

Provide executive level administrative support to said teams. This includes filing, sorting mail, coordinating mailings, maintaining calendars, scheduling and coordinating meetings, reconciling and processing department expense and check requests, timekeeping submission and tracking workflow.

Prepare board and other executive level papers, correspondence, memos, documents and reports utilizing PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Prepare spreadsheet analyses and presentations for various projects and initiatives.

Organize employee meetings and events.

Work with VP and other staff as requested on special projects.

Assist department management with monitoring and implementing departmental controls.

Coordinate and maintain compliance documentation and records.

Assist other Administrative Assistants on special projects.

Work as a team player and communicate with all levels across the company.

Schedule meetings, catering, travel arrangements and phone conferences for VPs & staff.

Act as gatekeeper and have ability to direct phone calls and visitors based on schedule, priorities and projects.

Assist with other duties and project work as assigned.

Adhere to effective internal controls.

Qualifications

HS Diploma/GED, and m

inimum of 5 years as an administrative assistant or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Demonstrated organizational, coordination and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Ability to handle information of a highly confidential nature.

Ability to work as a member of an integrated team.

Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize work under time constraints and pressure.

Strong customer service focus and ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work overtime as needed.

Preference may be given to candidates with the following:
Background in energy.

Executive Assistant experience
