Administrative work of significant difficulty and complexity. Operates PC using advanced software applications, e.g., designs complex spreadsheets, imports/exports data between software applications, creates presentations using graphics, diagrams and charts. Applies rules and procedures, e.g., identifies needs and initiates administrative projects. Work is varied and can be project oriented, including work on projects outside of normal job duties. Compiles and provides basic analysis of information. Drafts responses for supervisor.s review on routine correspondence. Screens calls and responds to routine and non routine calls. Performs considerable coordination and follow-through. Schedules large and/or complex meetings with key customers, or high level executives. Receives general instructions and direction and refers unusual problems to superior. May clarify company policy and procedures and may verbally communicate sensitive information to senior management, or external contacts. May supervise other administrative employees. May delegate work and conduct performance reviews.
5+ years administrative experience, preferably supporting Sr. level executives
Ability to work independently and able to prioritize work
Ease in adapting to changing priorities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
Able to support executives remotely, partnering well with on-site admin support. Many VPs work from multiple locations

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office 2000 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Lotus Notes.
