Primary function is to provide senior level administrative support for department and function heads within RBS M&IB Compliance.

Requirements

BS/BA Recommended

Possess project management skills such as managing an ad hoc initiative while maintaining adequate progress on competing assignments

Detail oriented, high degree of accuracy in all duties

Ability to think and operate beyond standard scope of responsibility, possess strong decision making skills, demonstrate independent judgment

Ability to handle confidential information

Highly organized and adept at time management

Ability to excel in a stressful environment, properly prioritize and manage several competing initiatives / responsibilities while meeting firm deadlines

Exceptional communication skills; ability to communicate openly with all levels of employees on a variety of matters both written and verbal

Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Comply with firm requirements

Responsibilities

Actively manage calendars in real time

Facilitate meetings and processes with members of the team, screening calls, fielding queries, etc.

Proactively identify and escalate compliance issues to appropriate compliance units

Coordinate extensive travel and submit expense reports via Concur

Facilitate and manage functional processes within the Compliance Department including:

ePerformance

Resource Planner - holiday web system. Maintain vacation requests/ time taken analysis

LSS Invoice Billing System

Concur

Travel for CCO and Heads of Core Compliance and AML Head

On-boarding of new Compliance team members

System Access Approvals for consultants and new employees

Office Supplies for all members of the Compliance Team, technology items and other

Spot and escalate breakdowns and gaps. Redirect where necessary and required

Facilitate requests particularly from Group and GBM Global Compliance

Distribute daily mail

Record and file log of regulatory correspondence

Assist Chief Compliance Officer, Head of Regulatory Relations Americas and the Global Head of AML/Sanctions, Anti-Bribery in preparing for senior management team and governance committee meetings

Provide production support for memoranda, presentations, and correspondence

Copy, fax and distribute documents as requested.

Ensure appropriate support coverage for periods of absence.
