Vera is based in New York City, with additional offices in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles and New Orleans. We have more than 180 employees and an annual budget of approximately $34 million. Most of our work focuses on four areas: youth justice, sentencing and corrections, immigration, and victimization. Vera also runs projects on related topics such as substance use and prosecutorial discretion.
