The Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Health Affairs and Dean serves as a senior administrator to the Dean. Prioritizes and adjusts workload to ensure efficient and timely accomplishment of administrative and logistical support functions for the Dean.

Proofreading, editing skills, and excellent attention to detail. Knowledge of accounting procedures. High degree of integrity Ability to anticipate collaborative needs of a diverse organizational structure. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office 2010 including Excel, PowerPoint and Word as well as Microsoft Outlook calendaring and email. Proficient in various business and management computer applications. Highly organized and proven ability to multi-task. Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines, able to respond to changes in priorities and can multi-task. Ability to initiate, plan and direct short and long term projects. Ability to manage and function autonomously. Ability to anticipate and take initiative. Must be able to exhibit good judgment, discretion and confidentiality. Team player and resourceful in problem solving, reliable and flexible. Demonstrated cultural competence and effectiveness in serving the needs of a diverse population.
Prior experience as an assistant or executive assistant. Five plus years of relevant experience in medical, higher education, or administrative setting. Demonstrated sucess in working with senior executive management. Higher education experience preferred. Demonstrated experience in handling multiple issues in a complex and dynamic work environment.
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent.
