The Executive Director is responsible for setting strategic direction of and providing executive leadership to TriMedx International. This role guides the development of the global footprint for the organization, acts as the primary business unit reprehensive to the Medxcel executive team, and ensures strong operational and financial performance from international operations. The position will be integral in the execution of moving Medxcel and its subsidiaries to a global organization. The role reports to Medxcel’s Senior Vice President of Strategy and Business Acceleration.
• Bachelors degree in international business or business; preferred MBA or equivalent working experience
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience developing and operating business in international markets with strong understanding of legal, tax, regulatory, and other business considerations
• Proven experience in new and developing markets
• Proven experience in successful operations resulting in a strong P&L, multiple concurrent P&L responsibility preferred
• Strong desire to make a global impact and improve healthcare conditions
• Strong leadership skills required
• Strong strategic thinking and complex problem solving
• Willingness to take risks
• Ability to be culturally agile
• Knowledge of the global healthcare industry preferred
• Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and organizational teams and obtain buy-in
• Business and financial acumen and the knowledge to understand operations

• Ability and willingness to travel on a regular basis, often internationally
A. Leadership and Relationships: 35%
a. Maintain customer focus in all work activities
b. Maintain ongoing relationships and communication with key stakeholders within the organizations, at large customer and prospect sites, and with development partners
c. Act as the key business unit liaison to Medxcel and subsidiary executives
d. Inspire and guide team members to be engaged and ensure business growth and success
e. Lead and organize team members to continuously achieve long and short term business results and personal development
f. Provide leadership and role modeling through community involvement and a commitment to living out the organizations core values
g. Provide dynamic leadership while working with other team members to ensure successful retention and growth
B. Strategy and Growth: 30%
a. Set organizational strategy to meet expansion goals
b. Guide market-by-market growth plans through an appropriate localized offerings and support
c. Enable team to be successful in market expansion and local growth plans
d. Develop and pitch financing plans to support growth objectives
e. Lead the transition of Medxcel to a global organization
f. Identify and leverage the inter-dependencies among country operations, business units, and functional areas
C. International Business and Operational Performance: 35%
a. Ensure operations meet mandatory customer and market requirements
b. Ensure financial success in independent country operations
c. Enable individual growth and performance by investing appropriately in development and training
d. Ensure all legal, regulatory, and ethical requirements are met
