The Executive Director of National Sales manages top accounts for Loews Hotels including major multinational corporate and association groups on behalf of the brand. This position requires the creative vision of a dynamic leader to reflect the style and culture of Loews Hotels as an architect and steward of rewarding business relationships. While the Executive Director is responsible for (and measured by) booking national accounts into all Loews Hotels, the long-term value of these relationships serves as a major driving motivation. The position is responsible for Total Account Management for a series of accounts, handling both group and transient needs for these accounts. This person represents the brand at large and each individual property as necessary. As an industry leader and role model to others, this individual is expected to participate in industry associations at an executive level. The Executive Director of National Accounts will be based at Loews Atlanta Hotel and will travel domestically approximately 25% of the time.
Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management or related field
7-10 years of experience in the Southeast market, hotel based and/or operational experience required
Excellent communication, presentation, networking and negotiating skills
Polished and professional presentation
Strong analytical, problem solving and leadership skills
Demonstrated organizational skills
Must have a thorough knowledge and understanding of hotel operations
Must understand the contracting process
Must be willing and able to travel extensively
Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
