Description: Southern Illinois University Carbondale invites
applications and nominations for the position of Executive Director (Chief
Financial Officer, SIU Foundation). The Executive
Director will be the principal financial officer of the Southern Illinois
University Foundation. As the principal
officer, the CFO has primary management and oversight responsibility for
fiduciary affairs of the Corporation including assets management, accounting,
budget planning and monitoring, human resources, endowment fund management, and
facilities management. The CFO reports
to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the SIU Foundation, serves on the
Senior Management Team, and is the liaison to the Audit and Investment
Committees of the Foundations Board of Directors.
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelors
degree in Accounting, Finance or Administration is required, with a minimum of five
years direct experience in a Senior Financial Management role.
Preferred Qualifications: A masters
degree is preferred. The successful
candidate will possess proven leadership and organizational skills.
This is a security sensitive
