The SpringHill Suites by Marriot in Gainesville has an immediate opening for an energetic, motivated and experienced individual to fill the position of Executive Housekeeper and oversee the entire operation of the Housekeeping Department. This position reports directly to the General Manager. Areas of accountability include but are not limited to:
- Previous experience in a similar position.
- Excellent organizational, communications and leadership skills.
- Must be dedicated to customer satisfaction.
- Must be "hands-on" and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
- Management, supervision, evaluation, scheduling, training, coaching and counseling of all Housekeeping and Laundry Staff.
- Supervision and direction of all aspects of Housekeeping operations of the hotel to ensure the highest quality and level of cleanliness to meet hotel guests' expectations and brand standards.
- Controlling of all departmental expenses to ensure that they meet budget guidelines including Housekeeping supplies and Payroll.
- Communicating with the Engineering Department to ensure proper maintenance of the rooms and public areas.
