Under the supervision of the Director of Hotel Operations, the incumbent oversees and administers all housekeeping and textile operations while providing first class guest service. All duties are to be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation’s policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

Position Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education/Experience:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree preferred.
  • Five (5) years of housekeeping management experience in a 300 plus room property, responsible for staffing exceeding 50 employees required.
  • Experience in AAA 4 Diamond property required.
  • Proficiency in supplies management.
  • Experience with hotel laundry process preferred.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, LMS, SWS.

  • Language Skills and Reasoning Ability:

  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
  • Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
