Gaming Hospitality Executive has been retained to assist a company to identify a candidate with experience in restaurant operations maintaining a high level of service and cost effective product variety and innovation within specific ranges of price-pointsJob description for the position of Restaurant Manager is as follows... Assures that all restaurant policies and procedures are followed to provide proper service to the guest. Maintain positive, professional working relationships will all employees and work closely with all service personnel to continually promote consistent, quality service to our guests. Interviews and selects employees, conducts performance evaluations in a timely manner, initiates disciplinary measures and recommends employee termination when necessary. Provide direction to staff in all areas of employee relations, which includes compliance to established policies and procedures, proper and thorough employee training, and maintenance of positive morale levels within the workplace. Schedules periodic department meetings. Makes recommendations on menu design, suggests changes as necessary based on menu activity. Determines staffing needs to ensure guest satisfaction based on current and projected business levels. Sets and manages employee schedules in each of the food outlets. Responsible for service staff and guest interaction, i.e., greeting, seating, making the guest feel at ease. Monitors the levels of service and acts accordingly. Develops Employee Service Training programs for Food and Beverage. Trains all service employees to high service standards Formulates and follows procedures for opening and closing the main dining room and other areas of Food and Beverage as requested. Maintains acceptable levels of inventory for front of the house operations.
Restaurant Manager Requirements: A High School education or equivalent is required. A Bachelor's degree in culinary arts, hotel, hospitality or other related field is preferred. Culinary and sanitation certification is required. A minimum of seven years supervisory/managerial experience in a high volume, full service and quality dining environment demonstrating progressively responsible experience is preferred. Supervisory/Managerial experience should include people management, budget development and innovative product introductions. Prior experience with catering, banquets, events and beverage services is preferred. We DO NOT open attachments!!!
