Under the direction of Tribal Council and Morongo Executive Staff, perform responsible secretarial duties in support of Tribal Council, predominately recording and transcribing minutes, notices, reports and agendas for all Council meetings, conferences, and special events. Also, prepare motions and follow-up documents. Maintain accurate records of Tribal Council meetings; act as the official keeper of Tribal government records; provide transparent and accurate information and access to tribal records; and other duties as assigned.
Candidate is required to have a minimum of five (5) years experience in a legal office, city or county clerks office, or a corporate/executive business setting. High School Diploma or GED required. A degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or English may substitute for up to two (2) years experience.
