Executive Reliability Prognostics Manager will lead a team of dedicated professionals to work with cross-functional teams, address complex issues, and provide data driven analysis in support of our customers. Executive Reliability Prognostics Manager will demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives within our Reliability Center of Excellence.

Essential Responsibilities
Executive Reliability Prognostics Manager will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues for durability and reliability, analytics, analytical tear-down efforts, and remote monitoring and diagnostics. In this role you will be responsible to facilitate long-term planning and contribute to the overall business strategy.
In addition you will:
  • Provide overall leadership and administrative management for functional areas
  • Develop overall strategy and development for Prognostics Team
  • Be accountable for the team metrics ensuring organization meets goals, objectives, and expectations by establishing monitoring budget, programs, and plans
  • Lead team of prognostic and diagnostic experts supporting GE Transportation customers
  • Develop new business processes within the prognostics team and integrate to broader reliability team as well as other business COE's
  • Manage existing RM&D Operations and grow to increase installed base penetration and expand prognostics delivery
  • Implement state-of-the-art diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures and tools
  • Drive sustainable reliability improvements through advanced prognostics including; sensor development and deployment as well as data analytics
  • Develop Predictive Health Management (PHM) and Integrated Vehicle Health Management (IVHM) procedures for locomotive systems and sub-systems
  • Develop and execute technology and system MGPP's for advance diagnostic and prognostic capabilities with the intent of improving reliability and associated efficiency
  • Deliver innovation in regards to Condition Based Maintenance
  • Work cross-functionally to provide timely and accurate interpretation of prognostic / diagnostic outputs to advise customer operational decisions (Ensure outputs are valued by the customer)
  • Work with the CTO office to incorporate prognostics technologies into the enterprise architecture
  • Maintain a robust knowledge repository for diagnostic and prognostic development and deliver integrating information from various input channels (MI’s, teardown analysis, results /success rate of prognostics and diagnostics in the field, operational feedback, etc)
  • Maintain broad awareness of technical efforts within the work group in order to assure technical excellence, timely completion of work and reviews, and appropriate use of resources and consistency

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (Or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Global Supply Chain or Engineering)
  • Minimum of 8 years of leadership experience in Global Supply Chain or Engineering
