Under indirect supervision, provides administrative, project and executive support to the office of Vice President. Oversees and coordinates the day-to-day activities of the office, and serves as the principle point of administrative contact and liaison with internal and external constituencies. Assists with budgets, travel and coordinating of events. May provide specialist services in the areas of word processing and general office administration. Assist with department head count and organizational charts.
Two years of college or formal secretarial training and a minimum of six - eight years of increasingly responsible secretarial and administrative experience, or equivalent.
At least 3 years of additional work experience supporting professional staff of 10 or more that can be demonstrated to be applicable to the duties and skills listed in the job description.
Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Power Point, Excel, Internet, Visio, SAP).
Requires good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to effectively work independently as well as with others.
Ability to function in a very fast paced and time sensitive environment.
Record management and filing skills.
Ability to coordinate complex travel schedules.
