Coordinate work of support staff within the front office unit of the Undergraduate Admissions Office, and perform advanced professional staff support for the Executive Director of Admissions. Gather, edit and report on issues relating to University Admissions programs, events and services. Draft administrative policies and procedures for senior management review. Perform budgetary duties at the discretion of the Executive Director of Admissions. Provide oversight of students workers in the absence of Coordinator of Customer Service.
Knowledge of effective oral and written communication techniques. Knowledge of effective customer service and problem-resolution techniques when serving diverse customers. Knowledge of admissions, secondary education and higher education. Working knowledge of information systems and other PC-related software used to prepare correspondence, produce reports and manipulate data. Working knowledge of budgetary policies, practices and procedures. Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with the public. Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, make workflow decisions and work independently. Demonstrated ability to interpret, explain and apply a variety of policies, regulations and standards.
