  • Executive Assistant provides shared administrative support to the OSF Medical Group executive team including the Chief Administrative Officer, Vice President Central Region, Central Region Administrator, and Chief Executive Officer. Primary and secondary support of executives are divided between Executive Assistants supporting the OSF Medical Group and may change or be reassigned from time to time. The primary role of an Executive Assistant is to help the executives they support function at the highest level possible.

    This position requires exceptional administrative, organizational and interpersonal skills, for service at the executive level. Must possess and apply necessary maturity, prudent judgment and discretion, along with strict confidentiality, and be able to make sound decisions independently. Excellent computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Excel, and the ability to type 65 wpm, are required. Minimum of five years prior secretarial experience is required. Bachelors in Business Administration or Business Management preferred. Must have organizational and project management skills necessary to prioritize own work, work on several projects at one time, and handle multiple complex tasks for several persons while maintaining a positive professional demeanor. Must possess ability to write effectively and process transcription so as to draft, proof and edit non-routine correspondence, spreadsheets, charts and presentations. Knowledge and understanding of basic business management concepts, office procedures and operations required. Excellent interpersonal skills, telephone and communication skills, and willingness and ability to work overtime and weekends as needed. Must portray a positive attitude and professional appearance.
