Entrada at Snow Canyon Golf Club in St George, Utah is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Executive Sous Chef. Qualified candidates will be comfortable in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior customer service for our guests.
-Supervise food production personnel. Assist the Executive Chef with monthly inventories, pricing, cost controls and ordering.
-Create daily dining room "evening specials."
-Assist Executive Chef with the supervision of employees. Required to learn, comply and implement standards in coordination with human resources department. Consistently maintain standards of quality, cost, eye appeal and flavor of foods. Also, assist Executive Chef with sanitation and safety parameters, menu planning and related production activities. Routinely inspects refrigeration, walk-ins and reach-ins for proper temperatures and storage as documented; regarding labeling, rotating product and overall cleanliness and organization of the areas.
-At least 4 years of experience in a culinary management role, preferably within an upscale environment (resorts, fine dining, or private clubs).
-Certificate from college, technical school or accredited facility preferred.
