The Experienced Hire Recruiting Manager is responsible for initiating and coordinating all experienced hire recruiting efforts in the Americas (primarily in the US and Canada but increasingly in Brazil and Mexico). The manager should have great working knowledge of all principal recruiting channels and be able to work with partners to identify most appropriate channels and strategies. Once a strategy is agreed, this manager should be able to work alongside experienced hire team to execute search in cost effective and timely manner through to successful onboarding.

Key responsibilities:
  • Liaise with practice leadership to ascertain hiring needs and job specifications including, where necessary, developing a business case
  • Develop and modify recruiting strategy to reflect changing internal and external market conditions
  • Drive experienced hire recruiting against agreed targets:
o Expand established direct sourcing methods – referrals, LinkedIn and other web based searches – to ensure the majority of hires are through direct sources

o Conduct effective pre-interview phone screens: ensure evaluation guidelines are met, assess skill set and calibrate staffing level/compensation accordingly, etc.)

o Manage the experienced hire recruiting effort including organizing and overseeing interviews process

o Develop appropriate compensation packages

o Communicate with candidates and partners regularly throughout the process

o Work with Staffing managers to ensure successful integration of new staff

  • Manage/help maintain recruitment database
  • Conduct and maintain analysis and KPIs on recruiting efficiency and effectiveness
  • Develop and maintain a network of appropriate search firms in OW’s office locations
  • Commission and manage retained and contingent searches where appropriate
  • Work with the campus recruiting team to optimize efforts and develop best practices across all of the Americas recruiting efforts
  • Develop working relationships with other HC staff & support professional departments
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of recruiting experience or experience in a related field
  • Strong customer focus and sense of urgency
  • Effective communication and influencing skills, particularly with senior leaders in the firm
  • Excellent organization (multi-tasking), analytical and problem solving skills including process improvement
  • Excellent operational skills and attention to detail to ensure a flawless recruiting experience
  • Strong North American direct sourcing experience, successful track record of creating sustainable pipelines
  • Comfortable working both independently and in a team environment
  • English fluency required; Spanish fluency preferred but not required
  • Computer-proficiency, including knowledge of MS Windows applications such as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and electronic mail/Access proficiency a plus. Strong database skills preferred.
