Qualified applicants for this opportunity will possess
  • A Bachelor’s degree in preferably in a technical discipline, i.e. chemistry or engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in credit & collections
  • Proficient computer skills (MS Office, Avenue, interface applications); knowledge of JD Edwards Enterprise One or similar ERP system preferred
  • Knowledge of and experience with business intelligence tools a plus
  • General knowledge of international shipping and banking practices

  • Function
    A Leading Company located in Mercer County, New Jersey is searching for an Export Coordinator

  • Receive, enter, track and manage complex orders within the sales order management system
  • Ensure on time shipment delivery of all orders
  • Resolve routine customer complaints and issues: responding professionally & timely to customer requests – Entering and monitoring complaints
  • Coordinate with Freight Forwarders and logistics’ partners to achieve on time customer deliveries
  • Provide back- up customer service for specified representatives
  • Determine the needs of internal and external customers by asking the right questions, listening, and confirming before acting; presenting responsible alternatives to meet their needs
  • Monitor release of all holds on orders to ensure shipment date adherence
  • Obtain approvals and follow through on customer returns, associated credit memos and price overrides
  • Coordinate shipments with production planning, plants and warehouses to ensure that inventory is appropriately allocated to orders
  • Interact with credit department to expedite credit reviews
  • Coordinate with Sales & Commercial Services to resolve pricing issues
  • Participate in business meetings as appropriate to his/her area of responsibility
  • Developing and expanding work skills to improve performance
  • Recognizing the links between his/her work and that of others; seeing the impact of the system as a whole
