      Summary:

      The Director of F&B is responsible for all Front of House Food and Beverage Outlets including Restaurants, Lounge, Room Service and Concierge Lounge.

      Supervisory Responsibilities: · Restaurant Manager
      · Assistant Restaurant Manager
      · Bar Manager
      Essential Duties / Tasks / Responsibilities:

      As with any new position, the tasks and responsibilities may differ initially as the role develops. The ultimate responsibility will require the incumbent to ensure profitability and success within all Food & Beverage Operations.

      1. Innovative approach to generating revenue and menu review

      2. Strong knowledge of wines and beverage

      3. Provide training and development to all direct reports and to all hourly Grand Performers.

      4. Uphold all Corporate and property SOP’s and ensure all are in place

      5. Strong Financial Acumen including achieve budgeted revenues, prepare monthly forecast, and maximize profitability within the food and beverage department.

      6. Assist in the preparation of the annual departmental operating budget and financial plans of the hotel.

      Knowledge / Skills / Abilities (KSA’s):

      1. Advanced knowledge of local market and cultural pulse.

      2. Ability to communicate effectively within all levels of the organization.

      3. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple responsibilities including Forecasting, Budgeting, Hiring and Selection, Employee Relations, Scheduling and Payroll.

      4. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

      5. Guest service demeanor and outgoing personality with the ability to relate to diverse guest types.

      6. Strong sales mentality and skills to effectively establish rapport and read guest cues.

      Experience / Education / Certifications:

      1. Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, event management or related field - required

      2. Hospitality or related industry experience - required

      3. 7+ years experience in luxury hotel operations – required
