This role manages all aspects of the physical plant (equipment, infrastructure, building) and Enviromental Health & Safety (EH&S), including process and ergonomic improvements.
Essentail responsibilities include:
Managing all equipment maintenance and repairs.
Maintains preventive maintenance program.
Controls the activities of outside contractors for facility, grounds and equipment.
Coordinates plant capital budget- Indirect materials procurement.
Monitors maintenance/repair costs of equipment; contributors to equipment acquisition/replacement, process improvement.
Oversees all security systems including building access, security faults, security policies and procedures, audits and security coverage and scheduling as needed.
Environmental and OSHA compliance with federal, state, and regional regulations
Serves as plant coordinator for all EH&S activities including assessments, inspections, programs and training.
Executes building/utilities/services upgrades and installations as needed by the operations Minimum Requirements: Associates Degree in Industrial Managment / Business Related. Bachelors Degree in Industrial Managment / Business Related. Preferred Requirements: Desired: Broad experience in installation/repair of manufacturing equipment Broad knowledge of manufacturing infrastructure (HVAC, electrical, tool & die) Knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations In depth knowledge of facility operations and maintenance Ability to read blue prints (at least 5 years experience) Knowledge of machine shop operations Prior management/supervisory experience Lean Manufacturing experience
