Education/Training - Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university with major emphasis in early childhood, social work, special education, child development, health education, psychology, and/or interdisciplinary sociology. Bachelor degree in another area, to be considered for this position, must have additional experience (see below).
Must complete service coordination apprenticeship and enroll as a service coordinator with the Children Medical Services Early Steps State Office and with Medicaid Targeted Case Management and within 90 days of hire.
Licensure/Certification - Valid Florida drivers license with no more than five (5) points and must be insurable under the Orlando Health insurance carrier's requirements/standards.
Experience - One year of experience with young children and early intervention is required.
If bachelor degree in another area of study than what is listed above - must have three years experience with young children and early intervention.
