We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an FGP Assistant. To qualify you must have a High School Diploma or the equivalent with experience and competency with various computer hardware and software, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, scheduling, communications and presentation applications plus knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of insurance companies' office visit and procedure policies to complete pre-authorization requirements, as well as, Trinity Center procedures to obtain laboratory and imaging information. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining physician patient schedules, patient procedure schedules and appointment calendar; answering phones and screening incoming calls; registering and scheduling new patient appointments; obtaining insurance pre-authorizations for treatments and diagnostic procedures; maintaining cooperative and professional relationships with physicians, nurses and office and clinical staff; obtaining and copying results of laboratory tests and scans for appropriate patients; plus all related job duties as assigned. Excellent communication skills are essential.

Associate's degree preferred.
