We are currently seeking a dynamic Finance Director to join our team at our office in Chicago, IL. The Finance Director will manage the financial operations for public sector operations in Illinois.

Position Responsibilities:
Compile, review and analyze internal management reports to share with senior management. Researching and identifying trends in reports.

Manage General Ledger and work with Corporate Finance on all accounting issues.

Serve as primary liaison with state partners with respect to invoice processing and accounts receivable management. Also serve as primary fiscal contact to other third parties or institutions. Prepare and review financial reports shared with clients.

Oversee annual budget preparation and monthly variance monitoring.

Work with service center and matrix leadership to ensure proper staffing requirements to provide efficient and exemplary service.

Position Requirements:
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required.

Licensures: None required. CPA preferred.

Relevant Work Experience: 3 years of work experience in the healthcare finance industry. Experience working in a provider group or managed health care setting preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computerized accounting systems required.

Knowledge of Medicaid and behavioral health sector is preferred.
