JOB SUMMARY: Provides professional care and service within assigned area in accordance with established standards, institutional policy and procedures, professional judgement, and, as appropriate for assignment, physician’s treatment plan. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the ages and culture of the patients/clients served. Ensures adherence to the Corporate Compliance Program. Performs other related duties as deemed competent.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
Experience: Previous experience preferred.
License/Registration: Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner/Midwife in North Carolina ; registration with the NC Medical Board
Education: Graduate of an approved Physician’s Assistant program
Experience: Three years preferred
License/Registration: Current license to practice as a Physician’s Assistant in North Carolina ; registration with the NC Medical Board. Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
BOTH FNP OR PA
Other: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with wide variety of people. Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires full range of body motion, including handling/lifting patients, manual/finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires corrected vision/hearing to normal range. Requires standing/walking for extensive periods of time with bending, stooping/stretching. Frequently lift/carry patients and/or items weighing 50 lbs or more.
