FP&A Job Description:
Develop detailed annual plans that support the business strategy
Develop sales forecasts
Recap and analyze business results versus plan and forecast on a daily, monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc basis
Build ad-hoc projections and provide decision support to leadership
Support the financial evaluation and business case development of new business opportunities
Present monthly budget variance packages to the executive team
Responsible for ensuring budget compliance
Provide general accounting support including cost center accruals, purchase request account coding and open PO analysis / accrual
Salesforce system administration.
Working closely with all stakeholders to see communicate budget variances.
Working with people from outside of the accounting/finance team on projects
Assist with Financial Reporting (monthly, quarterly, yearly), month end close, quarter end close, and year end close.
Assist in annual company audit
Assist in the integration of vertical platforms and applications inbound and outbound to Salesforce.
Administrator and super user of Adaptive Planning or similar
Advanced Excel user - v-lookup, pivot tables, even some macro work
2+ years of financial analysis experience (budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, etc)
BA in Finance, Accounting and/or Business Administration
Must be able to make decisions and solve problems that are general in nature and for which there are precedents.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Willingness to work for a fast paced startup that has a very horizontal org chart. This role needs someone who can roll up their sleeves and take on a multitude of projects rather then one defined position.
