Role/Team Summary

This position is responsible for providing Senior Reporting Analytical support for the Management Accounts support function within the Financial Planning & Analysis team. This role will partner with other FP&A teams, such as Business Support, Executive Support and Infrastructure Support. In addition, they will liaise with Accounting, Financial Reporting and Product Control. The candidate should possess 4+ years of experience within a FP&A or Management Reporting team.
Responsibilities
·
Responsible for maintaining and ensuring accuracy of the MI Management Reporting database.
· Prepare monthly statistics and related journals for Financial and MI reporting processes.
·
Perform financial and statistical reconciliations and analyses to ensure completeness and accuracy.
·
Responsible for challenging results and performance metrics.
·
Partner with US and Global finance teams to ensure cost allocation protocols are followed and liaise with FP&A partners to ensure proper drivers are agreed.

Assist in annual budgeting and rolling monthly forecasting process
·
Assist in analysis for full year and interim results briefing packs.
·
Use project management skills to facilitate process improvements and ensure business as usual and development activities remain focused on operating model.
·
Maintain awareness of changes to business requirements ensuring that any impacts to outputs are sufficiently assessed and appropriate changes are made within required timescales.
·
Possess sound financial knowledge and ability to use core finance systems and hierarchies.
·
Possess an understanding of management and financial hierarchies such as legal entity and management reporting.
·
Strong understanding of the bank’s products, customers and structures.
Minimum Requirements
·
Detail oriented, high degree of accuracy in all duties.
· Ability to think and operate beyond standard scope of responsibility, possess strong decision making skills, demonstrate independent judgment.

Highly organized and adept at time management.
·
Ability to excel in a challenging environment, properly prioritize and manage several competing initiatives and responsibilities while meeting hard deadlines.
·
Strong project management skills to develop efficiencies and drive success
·
Strong team player, able to leverage peers for maximum output.
·
Excellent Excel, Hyperion Essbase and Hyperion Planning knowledge
·
Knowledge of Oracle financials
·
Exceptional communication skills; ability to communicate openly with all levels of employees on a variety of matters both written and verbal.
·
Comply with firm compliance and attendance requirements.
