Job Description: Assist with the day to day operations within the Facilities Management Group. Jobs range from building temporary store fixtures to travelling to different markets to assist in the temporary store set up and tear down process. Job Requirements: Load and unload store fixture and merchandise trucks at temporary retail store locations during store set up and tear down process.
Complete minor projects to include: o Test and repair emergency and exit lights, remove exposed wires, install temporary sign lights, small painting projects, repair ceiling tile, patch floors, install cash safes, change light bulbs. Complete major projects such as: o Cut, paint, and build all new fixtures and carts for temporary retail stores o Repair all used fixtures and carts o Build , repair, and install our temporary sign lighting at temporary retail store locations Assist with the set up and tear down process for temporary retail stores. Assist with remodeling projects for family retail stores Direct and train temporary labor associates at all Company job sites Clean and organize the Facilities Management Group s shop area Other Functions: General warehouse labor Help deliver merchandise for the Distribution Center Erect and teardown warehouse racks in the Distribution Center Maintenance and landscaping as required at Corporate Office/Distribution Center and remote Distribution Center This job description is to be used as a guide for accomplishing company objectives, and only covers the primary functions and responsibilities of the position.
