JOB SUMMARY
This position is for a Facilities Coordinator with 4+ years experience in facility related maintenance support.

Detailed Description
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties will vary from day to day as the need or situation arises. Oral and written communication with all levels of internal customers is essential in maintaining a functional, safe and efficient work environment. The candidate will be required to perform a wide variety of tasks including custodial, facility safety inspections, minor building maintenance, recycling, destruction of print media and other facility related duties. The Facilities Coordinator, after being trained on security procedures, will be required to escort contractors and vendors. The candidate will also be responsible for transporting classified and unclassified litho plates to a local recycling contractor for destruction. The Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for ordering consumables, checking inventory and maintaining logs on NJVC and Government assets. The monthly reports will contain data and metrics collected from internal NJVC sources. Maintain and update space changes on Excel spreadsheets along with occasionally working with Visio software for modifying space layouts and drawings.

The Facilities Coordinator will be responsible for performing monthly facility safety and building infrastructure inspections. Serve as liaison between NJVC and subcontractors to address facility issues and concerns. The candidate will identify future space requirements and develop a plan of action if required. Ensuring the kitchens are checked and fully stocked on a daily basis. Maintain baseline inventory for offices, stock rooms, and conference rooms at the Arnold facility. On occasions, escort vendors to designated work areas. Responsibility may include purchasing office supplies, and ensuring completion of vendor service and repairs on equipment.

Job Requirements
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • This position requires a High School diploma and 4+ years of experience
  • The ability to communicate clearly with all levels of personnel
  • The ability to multi-task while paying attention to details and instructions
  • Willingness to learn, grow and adapt to new challenges
  • Experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook preferred
Physical Requirements:
Repetitive movement on a daily basis and the ability to lift 75lbs is required.
