PEMCO has an opportunity as a Facilities Coordinator. This role manages the operational and administrative support processes for facilities activities, including providing safe and functional work environments for employees in PEMCO-owned and/or leased buildings.

  • Manage delivery and execution of assignments related to design and construction projects
  • Optimize functionality of building and physical support systems, to include:
    • Maintenance of building structures and permanent interiors
    • Maintenance, updates and upkeep of CAD
    • Coordination and execution of acquisition, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal of furniture and equipment, as assigned
    • Oversight of the installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal of grounds and exterior elements, as assigned
  • Manage and coordinate the work of assigned vendors and consultants
  • Contribute to and support operating and project plans and budgets
  • Maintain planning tools, work schedules, and help coordinate work assignments of the Facilities team
  • Serve as back-up to the Property Coordinator role
  • Apply security and accident prevention programs and coordinate the volunteer Safety Committee for PEMCO and its affiliated companies
  • Provide task-oriented support, representation, and back-up for department leadership, as needed

  • Two (2) years of experience in building/facilities management roles, facilities maintenance (including janitorial work) with increasing levels of responsibility in a corporate environment required
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel required
  • Knowledge of space design strongly desired
  • Safety committee experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of CAD preferred
  • Knowledge of furniture systems preferred
  • BA/BS degree in business or equivalent work experience preferred
  • BOMA and IFMA Certificates preferred

Job Conditions:

On call 24/7/365. Some travel required. Must be able to lift and carry 45 lbs.
