Responsible for operational duties related to the care, maintenance and operations of the entire building. Responsible for the setting up and breaking down of rooms, halls, lobbies, etc. In charge of inventories of maintenance supplies, tables, chairs, tools and machinery.1.In charge of room sets, tables, chairs, linens, skirting, room signs, marquee sign, cones outdoor signage, barricades, pipe/drape, AV sets, projection equipment, light sets, banners, etc. in accordance with BEOs and as instructed by director, event coordinator, chef, supervisor, client etc.
Serve as backup for other Civic Center staff including answering phones and assisting clients with event scheduling. Other reasonable requests as directed. Assist with FOH as needed, pre-sets, run food, bus, décor, check beverage/food levels during weekday/evening events.2.Assist with Front of House as needed, pre-sets, run food, bus, décor; check beverage/food levels during weekday/evening events.Keep stock of A/V equipment/supplies as needed, batteries, etc.3.Keep stock of A/V equipment/supplies as needed batteries, etc. Monitor, order, stock main supply as needed for light bulbs, filters, etc.4.Replace flags in entry as needed, interior and exterior.
Keep Civic Center in Good Running Order.5.Assist Back of House, Front of House, Chef and all employees if needed.6.Operate various cleaning equipment including buffers, sweepers, and vacuums. 7.Knowledge of and ability to setup and operate audio-visual equipment – such as VCR/DVD/TV, stage sound board and lights, projection systems, and basic computer skills and ability to learn computer software program for diagramming room setups with client.
