Community Reach Center, a top-tier mental health provider in the northern Denver area, and the designated mental health provider for anyone eligible for Medicaid in Adams County, Colorado.

We are seeking a Full Time Facilities Manager to be part of our Maintenance Team. The Facility Manager is responsible for the management of services and processes that support Community Reach Center Systems, Inc. The Facility Manager will ensure that there the environment is suitable for CRC employees, consumers and their activities. The Facility Manager will focus on using best business practice to improve efficiency, by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity.

The Facility Manager will be involved in both strategic planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to operations Centers buildings and premises. Likely areas of responsibility include: procurement and contract management; building and grounds maintenance; cleaning; safety; utilities and systems; space management

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assess the current condition of electrical, air conditioning, plumbing and other essential facilities and equipment

· Maintain accurate records of the condition of the equipment and other systems in each of the buildings and residences

· Create a schedule of regular evaluation of the facilities

· Participate in the development of policies and procedures that affect the use of supplies and facilities

· Ensure that all the equipment and other facilities are working properly

· Create monitoring systems or preventative maintenance schedules to ensure or detect problems as early as possible

· Develop a system for cleaning, repair and maintenance of all facilities

· Develop a backup or alternative system for common problems such as power outages

· Ensure that each building or residence has a safety plan for fire flood or other hazard

· Prepare and maintain records and reports about safety Needs

· Maintain the efficiency and good working conditions of the facilities

· Coordinate with the staff at buildings and residences to be sure that work requested is within the scope of maintenance team

· Maintain effective working relationships and work in cooperation with the management team as well as external vendors/ contractors to effectively meet organizational objectives.

· Provide input into the development of the capital and expense budgets.

· Recruiting facilities service staff and training them appropriately to ensure competent work output

· Develop staff development programs such as skills enhancement training sessions

· Evaluate the work quality of the staff in coordination with supervisor

· Perform other duties as required.

· Promotes cooperative working relationships and positive team atmosphere.

· Performs other such duties as assigned within the scope of the position and program description, as well as those reflective of their experience, education and ability.

Other Functions

· Provides supervision, mentorship and oversight to assigned staff. Monitors compliance with regard to performance standards and takes corrective action as needed to ensure compliance.

· Defines staff training requirements and provides education, cross-training, and policy and procedure review; directs the creation and update of operational and troubleshooting procedures.

· Attends applicable management meetings and serves on appropriate work groups / committees to further the goals of Community Reach Center.

· Projects a positive image to other agencies and the general public.

· Participates in and utilizes opportunities that provide professional growth through attendance at center in-services and other conferences and by conducting consultation and education functions as indicated.

· Promotes cooperative working relationships and positive team atmosphere.

· Demonstrates competence in leadership, communication, professionalism, organizational and analytical skills, and technical/professional skills.

· Performs other such duties as assigned within the scope of the position and program description, as well as those reflective of experience, education, and ability.

Work experience requirements:

Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualification would be equivalent to:


· Associate’s degree in a technical field is preferred.


· Must have at least five years experience in a related building trade.

· Previous supervisory and project management experience is required.

Required Licenses and Certifications:

· Must have valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record while employed with Community Reach Center.

Necessary Skills:

· Excellent interpersonal skills and familiarity with corporate budget processes.

· Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.

· Must have good computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

· HVAC Certification preferred.
