JOB TITLE: Facilities Specialist

LOCATION: Houston, Texas

DUTIES: Designs, maintains and optimizes topsides facilities and process equipment to increase reliability and reduce operating costs for a variety of domestic and international clients; provides operational input into facilities design; supports preparation of startup and commissioning procedures and documentation in coordination with clients; partners with Technip and Client engineers to maintain and grow current production rates; and partners with Client Operations in solving facilities issues affecting daily operations. Leads equipment troubleshooting and debottlenecking to increase production. Performs specialized studies on process and utility equipment as needed; and participates in client AFE development for green and brown field projects. Responsible for HSE performance and culture on assigned work and direct accountability for performance (budget, schedule and deliverables) of facilities team on assigned projects. Reviews and manages project resource needs; provides input for process of change; identifies and mitigates issues that pose a risk to project and client relationship. Develops and maintains an effective working relationship with client team and other relevant Technip teams; and establishes and maintains relevant network within Technip Group and acquire knowledge of Group capabilities. Ensures lessons learned from the project are captured; ensures project start-up and close-out procedures implemented; prepares and presents information to Project Review teams, including HAZOP, HAZID, and Operability; and provides appropriate input to proposals and pre-qualifications.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or related plus five (5) years progressive Thermal or Process Engineering experience in the design and revamp of Combined Feed Heaters including review of P&IDs and HAZOP activities for refineries.
