Provide engineering and quality control related activities in support of the Facility Site Preparation for the US Army Information Systems Engineering Command (USAISEC). Support will encompass the technology and system requirements for the modernization of facilities including primary and backup power systems, monitoring and alarm systems, lighting, grounding fire suppression, heating and air conditioning, physical security, loading calculations and other technologies associates with the construction of new facilities the support the information technology for the government.
Provide information technology and facilities management support to the US Army Information Systems Engineering Command for various US Army sites.
Support the planning, programming and executing of the Installation Information Infrastructure Modernization Program (I3MP)
Provide Engineering and Infrastructure expertise such as Site Surveys, performing design calculations, writing engineering documents (HVAC, generators, cable systems, switches, grounding)
Develop and deliver products for different functional area to develop SRD (System Requirements Documents) or TDP (Technical Data Packages) documents.
Conduct full site surveys including survey analysis, site survey planning, plan reviews, tool preparation/build checklists, pre-survey coordination (internal and external), conduct surveys, provide in-process status reports and develop CDRL(Contract Data Requirements List) items
Supports the site manager for the construction, installation, and testing for the implementation of I3MP, involving VOIP, Data, Fiber Optics, and Satellite Communication Systems
Gather, analyze and create information technical design requirements.
Evaluates analytically and systematically problems of workflow, organization, and planning and assists in developing appropriate corrective action.
Help develop plans for automated information systems from project inception to conclusion. Identify and define problems.
Develop system requirements and program specifications, from which programmers prepare detailed flow charts, programs, and tests.
Use systems engineering controls to track decisions and requirements, maintain technical baselines, manage interfaced, manage risks, and track costs.
Ensure compliance with current USAISEC/EDED and TIC criteria, policies, standards, regulations, and directions.
Attend design and in-progress review meetings for each location. Must document minutes, findings, comments, and recommendations.
Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience supporting site surveys and facilities management
Must possess a Bachelors degree in a related field.
