The primary focus of this individual will be to perform preventive maintenance and repairs as required to maintain the entire facility utilizing outside contractors as necessary.

Function
Performs tasks necessary to maintain the facility and grounds to support a safe and clean environment.
Responsibilities
• Maintain, install and repair facilities and related equipment using general plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry skills and tools in a safe manner.
• Coordinates vendors or outside contractors, as necessary, for repair, inspection, and maintenance of facility systems (HVAC, Fire, Alarm, etc.)
• Communicate, monitor and work with outside contractors to ensure the timely and proper completion of tasks.
• Complies with safety regulations and maintains clean and orderly work areas.
• Responsible for maintaining a preventive maintenance program within the confines of an annual budget. This includes all heating, air conditioning, as well as maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment.
• Maintain plan for fire evacuation and disaster response. Serves as facility Emergency Response Coordinator.
• Ensures compliance of all Federal, State and Local Laws regarding the facility and environment.
• Co-chair of the Safety Team.
• Responsible for hazardous waste disposal program.
• Maintain up to date records for all state, federal, and insurance semi-annual and annual inspections.
• Track inventory, open and close work orders and maintain facility related information.
• Support all departments in the smooth, safe and efficient operation of the facility and related equipment. Coordinate and assist with office / furniture moves.
• Report any problems/concerns that may need immediate attention to General Manager.
• Performs / facilitates janitorial duties as required.

Qualifications
Fluent in English. Have a high school or tech school education and 3 years of facility maintenance experience. Must be skilled in using hand tools and power tools common to maintenance tasks. Ability to perform tasks in the following areas: carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and janitorial.
