Role Purpose
The facility engineer is responsible for conducting the building maintenance, planning and inspection and function of the facility and its systems. This individual manages one or multiple buildings within a campus and will have responsibilities in building field inspection, construction and maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Perform the maintenance required to keep the building and its systems in good working order (Amperage readings, infrared readings, etc.)
  • Responsible for aesthetic maintenance such as painting, framing and dry wall, door hardware issues, demolition, masonry work and snow removal etc. of the surrounding grounds
  • Assist with construction and fit out of new space within the Production Facility
  • Keep maintenance logs up to date and ensure PM is being completed on time and in accordance to the PM schedule
  • Monitoring systems via our building management system
  • Perform HVAC filter and belt changes as required
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Qualifications/Requirements
    Basic Qualifications
  • High school diploma/trade school or equivalent with demonstrated experience in the maintenance, monitoring of HVAC and other facility management systems
  • At least 5 years working in a similar capacity
  • Working knowledge of Building Management System (BMS)
  • Some knowledge of multiple UPS systems, backup generators with ATS’, chiller/cooling tower plant maintenance and upkeep and electrical systems (480v) experience
  • Hands on experience plumbing, drywall, painting, flooring, masonry and plan reading

  • Must be “on call” 24 hours a day / 7 days a week
