Responsibility/ Objectives

Own Global Documentation Standards based on FM requirements

Oversee real estate document management processes, policies and procedures

Responsible for keeping existing conditions information up-to-date

Approve project documentation plans and document control procedures produced by Consultants or Contractors as required

Provide existing condition drawings for new projects

Establish QA checks for conformance to real estate document standards (e.g., Standards QA check)

Administer real estate document management tool (ASITE)

Work with GS FM to define document standards,

Oversees the updating of the Existing Conditions Drawings

Responsible for the configuration and administration of the Facilities Information Repository.

Define/confirm drawing organization requirements by building

For Existing Condition, decide on merge or recreate drawings as needed

Check out to new project; check in after update (by project or in-house CAD operators).

Update for minor changes or identified discrepancy with field conditions as reported.

This position is responsible for all customer facing activities.

These activities require cooperation across a group of individuals that spans the entire organization as well as individuals outside such as, HR, Legal, Finance

This level of interdependency leads to a very complex environment.

As customer requirements change from customer to customer and project to project, this position must anticipate and manage the risk associated with those changes.

In addition this position is responsible for providing “VOC” input to the GS strategic direction.
