Performs necessary duties to maintain the physical plant and associated equipment of the hospital in good repair. Minor electrical work, mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance and other duties relating to the maintenance of the facility are the primary duties, will also maintain the safety and security of, and provides assistance to employees, members of the medical staff, patients and visitors. Performs on-call mechanics duties on a rotational basis.
