The Factory Information Systems Engineer will be motivated self-starter who is a key member of the Supply Chain IT team. In this role, you will have technical responsibility for a complex MES (Manufacturing Execution System) called the Production Monitoring Control System (PMCS). In addition you will:
Maintain and manage the PMCS Proficiency based Software Application including: Production, test, and development instances.
Interact with PMCS users on application support and enhancement needs
Coordinate efforts with various support teams including ISS for server maintenance, GAMS on application upgrades, and GEIP on Proficiency product support
Work with the rest of the IT team to meet overall PMCS user community needs
Provide PMCS user training sessions as required
Manage PMCS system performance
Drive continuous improvement in PMCS user satisfaction
Proactively report on project progress against schedule
Manage and report on adjustments to scope, schedule, and cost
Contribute to strategic and tactical planning
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or IT
Minimum of 4 years of Industry experience in systems administration, database development / administration, or manufacturing information systems development / operation
