The School of Health and Natural Sciences is seeking faculty in Physician Assistant Studies. The Assistant/Associate Professor of Physician Assistant Studies is responsible for teaching and motivating students; developing appropriate teaching methods; actively seeking advancement of teaching and learning processes; demonstratings knowledge of subject and incorporating new developments in the field into teaching; and developing new learning assessment techniques, courses, programs and teaching material.
In addition to teaching Evidence- Based Medicine and Public Health, the applicant will be required to teach several research method courses and coordinate the Program's research curriculum and activities. Faculty members are responsible for making scholarly contributions to their field of specialization and contributing a portion of their time and expertise to the college, professional and community service. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by supervisor.
Education Required or Min Education Required:
Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Public Health.
Experience and/or Skills Required:
- excellent administrative and organizational skills;
- exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;
- ability to work effectively as a member of a dynamic team in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Two years traditional teaching experience preferred
